![]() ![]() Do not get me wrong, I didn’t expect a perfect game, however a game that is nine years old and from a mobile device I would have expected a more optimized game and way fewer bugs. With button mapping that makes little to no sense, One question why is there no unwritten rule on what buttons do what in games?Įverything felt clunky and the amount of slowdown, bugs and issues with the game made what could have been a fairly decent budget title into something that is more trouble than it’s worth. The Kingdom of Tyreas stood alone against a sea of dark elven. About The Game After the fall of Ravengard, the world descended into chaos. Not to mention animations are poor mix in rendering issues its hard to even find a positive about the games optimization. by Teodor Nechita Updated on JAffiliate Disclosure Ravensword: Shadowlands is an MMORPG released in 2013 for both Android and iOS. Sorry, no review of Ravensword: Shadowlands yet. In your case, you started looking for games like Ravensword. The world and the visuals all looked dated and the textures are fairly bland and flat, again lending to the mobile side of the game. Sometimes we just cant get enough of certain titles, even after we finish them through and through. However, it is not enjoyable as it sounded. On paper this had me clad in my elvish armor brandishing my elvish swords Isilmë-Rista with excitement. It's graphics are somewhat ugly- think Morrowind models with Oblivion textures, but the music is great and the enemies are interesting- hunt boars for meat, huge bears, even dinosaurs. With a wide variety of enemies all in a fair sized open world. It's open-world, with simplistic combat- basically hit/block/repeat, and you can grind your way to being overpowered. Gameplay as a whole is fairly simple with different fighting styles, melee, distance, sneak and magic. It also shows the mobile roots, with Ravensword: Shadowlands not being optimized for console. We can play Ravensword: Shadowlands both first and third person, none of which are at all enjoyable, as they should be. However, as an overall story it is bland and has been told so many times it is now just boring, with no surprises.įirst it feels like somewhere between Morrowind and Oblivion clone. The intro is pretty cool to be fair given as a narrative like you would have seen in the Lord of the Ring film’s. The story is as old as fantasy RPGs themselves, Good vs Evil and it is up to you to stop the latter. Ravensword: Shadowlands is a mobile game from around nine years ago that has made the move to console. ![]() Review Rush was kindly supplied with a review code. Platforms: PS4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, mobile While the overall gameplay is pretty good, I would examine the scroll and book glitch, it seems to crash the game each time you read a book in Ravensword. ![]()
